Let me introduce myself.

I'm Tasha, a professional writer and globetrotter wordsmith for hire all the way from the Great White North!
No mean jokes about my nationality.
It's indeed true that every time Canadians hear a mean joke about being Canadian, we go to the hospital to get our feelings checked out for free.
All jokes aside, with this blog, I hope to connect, share my knowledge and learn together (with you from the comments!) with all sorts of individuals from the writing and digital marketing industry.

Why Do I Write?
It's simple.
To inform.
To persuade.
To entertain.
I enjoy writing as a means to be able to connect with others and share ideas, thoughts, and feelings.
Humans are social creatures at heart.
Communicating through writing continues to have groundbreaking impacts and I am thrilled to be a part of that every day!

I helped start a business for an English academy recently. Being an important pillar and manager of that business and using my own expertise as a writer and managing social media has helped me realize how valuable time is, especially since I'm the only person doing it!

I helped run a start-up business in which I was responsible for advertising and marketing on the website, Instagram, blog, and more.

Education
I've been a teacher for several years in various subjects. I have worked on writing textbooks and led a team of several teachers for developing a new school curriculum as the school's head teacher.
I can write/edit textbooks, help develop curriculum or write other educational content for your business. As well, I can help manage projects and lead writing teams to complete projects on time.

Travel
I've been a traveller for several years now. Originally from Canada, I now call Asia my home. I'm currently in country 18!
I recently moved to Thailand after living in South Korea for almost 5 years! Can you tell I fell in love with Korea?
With my extensive writing experience, I can write and create captivating travel content for your business in the travel industry. As a seasoned traveller and regular blogger, I know what's up!
I write a lot of intriguing content about my travels on my blog, The Planet Compass.
What Are Some Facts About Me?
When I'm not writing, you can find me eagerly traversing the globe with my cat and husband. I've travelled to every continent except for Africa, Australia, and Antarctica. Those are my next goals.
Below is a picture of me screaming at the top of my lungs both from exhaustion and the maddening view at Bukhansan National Park in South Korea.
I'm also too busy to tell people when I'm busy. Just kidding.
I also like to keep feeding my bustling energy! When I was a university student, not only did I study full-time, I was involved in school clubs, volunteering at a nursing home, and working multiple part-time jobs at international schools and grocery stores.
